This is JAG Family Woodworking and we are here to provide quality products at a fair price.
We are a new company and have been crafting stuff for a few years. We decided to make this into more then just DIY/Hobby work.
We will be growing the products that we offer as we continue to grow and expand into other areas of carpentry work.
WOOD SOURCES
Most of our indoor products have their wood sourced locally here in the QC Area. We utilize the sawmills in our area first. This is done to support other local businesses. If there is something we cannot get from them, we will use other sources. We try hard to limit this.
Currently, our outdoor products are sourced from various suppliers locally and elsewhere. The types of woods we use for these products are treated and intended for outdoor use. They have been treated and are more ideal to ensure your outdoor products last longer.
We do monitor our local suppliers as they adjust and bring in more options and will continue to use them first.
CUSTOM REQUEST
We also do make some Custom Request Items. Currently these are usually smaller projects that require some designing and planning on our end. These projects can normally be done in a day or two once builds get started.
We will discuss the customers needs, what they are after, and try to provide a concept ahead of time. Once this is settled upon, we can quickly get a plan and price together to provide you a more accurate idea on what the project will look like.
Recently, we made a "Plinko" Board for a customer to use at their card shows and live online events. This has been a great success for him and has been enjoyed by many. They provided their own graphic images and we had decals made to add to the board.

ABOUT US
JAG Family Woodworking is a small business run out of our shop here at our home. Everything is built by James year-round in our steel outbuilding. The winters can be a little rough out there, but we are looking to change that in the future. Once we do, this should make it more user friendly when we hit those single digits!
We both have full time jobs and work on these projects and requests in the evenings and weekends. Amy is a 1st Grade teacher and does a lot of work during the school year. She also helps raise our three children. James is an Engineer for a local company and works during his spare free time to build these crafts.
Our goal right now is to take orders from large groups and do a mass production run to keep build times down and make production go faster. This will likely change in the future as larger projects and products become available.
